Our History At Document Data Solutions

Document Data Solutions was founded in 2000 by Robert Ellis who began in this industry with Moore Business Systems back in the 1980's. His vision was to bring increased integrity solutions utilizing vision technology while also offering unparalleled service. Having started in the service industry, Robert knew the value of superior service and the importance of keeping DDS customers in production. He also knew that since no two businesses are the same, customers wanted the ability to get custom solutions and software for their unique requirements.

To accomplish his goals, he hired programmers, engineers, service technicians, and machinist to bring the highest quality products and service to the industry. Utilizing the internet, he developed "Service In Seconds™" that allows you to connect with our technicians to resolve issues, do additional training or download additional software over a secured HIPPA compliant service.

In 2004, we developed our small unique inkjet printer that was designed to go inline with an inserter to fit in place of a postage meter or vertical stacker. The unique design features a floating deck to accommodate variable thickness envelopes on the fly. DDS has continued to develop products as you can view on our products page.
