iDataControl™ - Selective Inserting For Older Swing Arm Inserters
Document Data Solutions, LLC (DDS) has just released their latest in Integrity solutions with iDataControl™ that turns your older non intelligent swing arm inserter into an intelligent one. The iDataControl™ uses state of the art technology to allow your older swing arm inserter to accomplish selective inserting. iDataControl™ will control the pockets of the older swing arm inserters to do selective inserting for tens of thousands less than purchasing a new intelligent type inserter. You can either use a barcode scanner for a simple solution or add DDS’ state of the art iDataScan™ Vision/Integrity solution for the ability to use OCR, 2D, OMR or other symbologies.
When iDataControl™ is added to the inserter, it will read a barcode or other symbology with the aid of either a barcode scanner or DDS’ Vision/Integrity solution to control the pockets of the older swing arm inserter. Once the first piece is dropped on the deck of the inserter and the symbology is read, the iDataControl™ will selectively control the pockets to place only the expected inserts onto the deck as set up in the data file.
